{"id":8407,"date":"2025-06-06T11:49:19","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T11:49:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/blog-en\/the-magic-sailing-team-participates-in-a-beach-clean-up-day-at-cofete-beach\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T19:33:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T19:33:38","slug":"the-magic-sailing-team-participates-in-a-beach-clean-up-day-at-cofete-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/en\/blog-en\/the-magic-sailing-team-participates-in-a-beach-clean-up-day-at-cofete-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"The Magic &amp; Sailing team participates in a beach clean-up day at Cofete Beach."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last Sunday, part of the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Magic &amp; Sailing<\/a><\/strong> team enthusiastically joined an initiative that, beyond any professional activity, reflects the deep connection that unites those who live by the sea with its care and preservation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On this occasion, we collaborated in the <strong>beach clean-up day organised by \u2018Limpiaventura\u2019 in <a href=\"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/en\/blog-en\/cofete-beach-a-magical-spot-in-fuerteventura\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cofete<\/a><\/strong>, one of the wildest and most emblematic corners of Fuerteventura. Under a generous sun and surrounded by landscapes of imposing beauty, we joined dozens of volunteers with a shared goal: to <strong>give back to the ocean a small part of everything it offers us every day.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"685\" height=\"806\" src=\"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/camion-con-basura-limpieza-de-cofete-magicandsailing.com_.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8393\" style=\"width:361px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/camion-con-basura-limpieza-de-cofete-magicandsailing.com_.jpg 685w, https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/camion-con-basura-limpieza-de-cofete-magicandsailing.com_-255x300.jpg 255w, https:\/\/magicandsailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/camion-con-basura-limpieza-de-cofete-magicandsailing.com_-500x588.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 685px) 100vw, 685px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the activity, we were confronted with a reality that is still difficult to accept. <strong>Plastic, ropes, fuel drums, fragments of nets and other marine debris<\/strong> were part of the landscape that we all tried to clean up. It was a shocking but necessary reminder that conserving the marine environment is not an option, but a collective responsibility. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This experience not only strengthened the bonds between those of us who are part of the local community committed to the environment, but also reaffirmed the values that have guided <strong>Magic &amp; Sailing<\/strong> since its inception: <strong>respect for nature, teamwork, and a firm commitment to sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who took part in this event, and especially to the <strong>Limpiaventura<\/strong> team for leading initiatives like this with such dedication.
