Imagine the end of a long day. The postbox has stopped ringing. You climb aboard, greeted by the crew with a smile and a cool drink. The boat pulls away from the dock and suddenly the breeze does its work: conversations flow, gazes drift towards the horizon and tension falls away into the sea. That’s the nautical after-work experience we’re looking for: quality time to talk, connect and celebrate without background noise.
At Magic & Sailing, we believe that the best encounters happen when someone takes care of the details for you: the pace, the perfect music, safety under control, and the feeling that the ocean is part of the team.
Why is the sea such a great place for after-work drinks?
Because it changes the context. Offices, hotel rooms, and terraces work… but the sea is disarming. On board, there are no tables to separate people or aisles to distract them. Just a shared landscape that invites conversation in a different way. That ‘click’ is gold for teams, customers, and partners.
What’s more, sailing at the end of the day has something special about it: gentle light, mild temperatures, a slow pace. Just what you need to make networking a pleasure rather than a chore.
Two styles, one idea: taking care of yourself
If you are looking for character and intimacy: the Aphrodite schooner (up to 65 people)
The wooden deck, classic aesthetics and the sound of water creating its own soundtrack. At Aphrodite, everything invites conversation: there is space to move around, corners to sit in and an atmosphere that makes it easy to look each other in the eye and talk.
- What it’s like: a quiet welcome, smooth sailing, carefully curated tastings designed for eating standing up or in small groups, music at a conversational volume, and a toast as the sky turns golden.
- For whom: management teams, meetings with key clients, or medium-sized groups that value aesthetics and tranquillity.
- What stands out: the perfect tempo. Nothing is superfluous, nothing is missing. You can concentrate on the conversation and enjoy yourself.
If there are many of you and you want fluidity: Magic Select catamaran (up to 104 people)
The Magic Select is spacious and stable. You can forget about wondering ‘where shall we sit?’ because there are areas for everything: those who want to chat in the shade, those who want to dance a little in the breeze, or those who need a quieter area to close a deal.
- How it feels: coastal cruising, tasting stations designed to keep things flowing, comfortable circulation, and a crew attentive to maintaining a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.
- For whom: large teams, incentives involving several departments, networking with external guests.
- What stands out: the invisible organisation. It seems simple… because there is skill behind it.
Note: the approximate duration of a sunset after-work event is 2–3 hours, always adjusted to the contracted departure time and sea conditions. Safety is a priority.
Catering and rhythm: eating, toasting, chatting
Catering at sea must be functional and tasty. Nothing heavy or cumbersome. We propose easy-to-eat snacks that you can enjoy while moving around and chatting naturally. Drinks (water, soft drinks, cava, beer, wine) accompany the meal without stealing the show; the toast is reserved for that moment when the light cries out for it.
Preferences, allergies, or a more gourmet menu? Perfect. Let us know in advance and we will adjust the proposal. The goal is for the catering to add to the experience, not ‘interrupt’ the conversation.
The experience, told in three scenes
- Immediate disconnection You climb aboard, take a deep breath, and you’re no longer in ‘office mode’. A brief welcome, a gentle first round, and we calmly leave the harbour.
- Encounters that flow Slow sailing, accompanying music, the crew attentive to timing and details. You mingle, you meet, you converse without distance.

Best practices (to ensure success)
- Short messages: if there is a speech, it is better to keep it short and meaningful, at the moment of the toast.
- Music in favour: conversational volume; if you want a DJ, let it be for accompaniment, not to overwhelm.
- Dress code: smart-casual and sturdy footwear. You move around, chat, laugh: you’ll be comfortable.
- Toilet break: only if conditions permit and the crew authorises it.
- Plan A/Plan B: the sea rules; if necessary, we adjust the schedule or route for greater comfort.
Our commitment
Proximity, craftsmanship and respect for the ocean. Laying the groundwork so that conversations flow naturally and your brand shines without loudspeakers. If you want your team to leave feeling like ‘we’ve been in the perfect place at the perfect time’, we’re here for you.
Do you have an idea for something more personalised?
Questions we are frequently asked
Can we personalise music and details?
Yes. From a playlist to a small branding detail. Subtle and tasteful.
Is it a standing event or a seated event?
We designed the after-work event to encourage movement and conversation, with seating available. The space can be adapted to suit the group.
What if it is windy?
We look for the best window of the day and adjust the route. The goal is for you to be comfortable.
Can you see dolphins?
Sometimes, yes. They are animals in the wild and we do not force them. If they appear, we respect distances and times.
