Last Sunday, part of the Magic & Sailing team enthusiastically joined an initiative that, beyond any professional activity, reflects the deep connection that unites those who live by the sea with its care and preservation.
On this occasion, we collaborated in the beach clean-up day organised by ‘Limpiaventura’ in Cofete, one of the wildest and most emblematic corners of Fuerteventura. Under a generous sun and surrounded by landscapes of imposing beauty, we joined dozens of volunteers with a shared goal: to give back to the ocean a small part of everything it offers us every day.
During the activity, we were confronted with a reality that is still difficult to accept. Plastic, ropes, fuel drums, fragments of nets and other marine debris were part of the landscape that we all tried to clean up. It was a shocking but necessary reminder that conserving the marine environment is not an option, but a collective responsibility.
This experience not only strengthened the bonds between those of us who are part of the local community committed to the environment, but also reaffirmed the values that have guided Magic & Sailing since its inception: respect for nature, teamwork, and a firm commitment to sustainability.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who took part in this event, and especially to the Limpiaventura team for leading initiatives like this with such dedication. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to the journey towards a cleaner and more conscious planet.
