Known as “The European Caribbean”, this place in the south of Fuerteventura attracts year after year visitors from all over the world. Its gastronomic richness, its beaches, its climate and its people, make this enclave of the Canary Islands a place worth visiting.
Being tourism its main economic engine, this area of the island also lives from fishing,
agriculture and livestock.

Morro Jable Beach (or El Matorral Beach)
Near Jandía, with more than 4 kilometers long, fine sand and crystalline waters, the beach of Morro Jable also known as El Matorral, delights both adults and children. Thanks to the high
number of sunny days and the average annual temperature of 22 degrees, there is no one who can resist to have a swim 365 days a year.

Gastronomy: from the sea to the table
Like any self-respecting fishing village, in Morro Jable you can enjoy restaurants by the sea where you can taste all kinds of fresh fish: from rascacio, to bocas negras, bocinegro, gallo,
sole and many other types of local fish. Of course, there are also the famous “papas arrugadas” (wrinkled potatoes), the incredible Majorero cheeses or the varied local wines.

Local festivities
July 16 is the big day of Morro Jable, celebrating the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of sailors. On that day there is a solemn mass and subsequent maritime-terrestrial procession. In addition, a week before the festivities begin: they include a pilgrimage, a verbena, a barbecue and a craft market.

Port of Morro Jable
We cannot forget our place of work: the Port of Morro Jable. With 290 moorings and five meters of draft, it allows the mooring of boats up to 35 meters in length. Among them, you will distinguish the fleet of Magic And Sailing: white catamarans with blue letters ready to sail the Atlantic Ocean in search of offering the best experience to our customers.
