Whether you’re coming with the children or with a group of twelve or fifteen, before you book a boat you always find yourself wondering the same thing: will they get seasick? The Select is a super catamaran measuring 22.8 metres in length and 10.5 metres in beam. In other words: a wide, sturdy and very stable boat that barely rocks, even in a bit of a swell. That’s exactly what puts most families’ minds at ease.
Children can move about on deck without you having to worry, and if you’re prone to seasickness, you’ll appreciate it from the very first minute.
Plenty of space, even if you come as a group
It can carry up to a hundred people, but it’s hardly ever completely full, so even with a large group you won’t feel cramped. There’s plenty of space to stretch out, sunbathe, chat and let everyone do their own thing. It’s a half-day outing, at a leisurely pace, suitable for all ages, from the little ones to the grandparents.
Food for everyone and a swim in the Atlantic
When the boat drops anchor, the crew serve the house special: Mozarabic chicken with rice and vegetables, with a vegetarian option for those who don’t eat meat. All this comes with an all-you-can-drink selection of water, soft drinks, beer and wine, with no limit on the number of rounds.
And before or after lunch, there’s a stop for a swim in crystal-clear waters. Along the way, we head out in search of wild dolphins and whales, which turn up when they please and are never guaranteed, but make their home in the south of the island.
Easy to organise
The trip lasts four hours, departing from the port of Morro Jable on Fuerteventura, with a pick-up service available in Costa Calma, Esquinzo, Morro Jable and Jandía.
